Blue Jean Baby
Just to preface this adventure, I got a flat tire literally 48 hours before. Hence why my one tire is not in any shots. Also, did not plan on this photo shoot being on the back road, mudding trails yet here we are. “Take your most expensive shoes to the dirtiest place in Tallahassee” sounded like a terrific idea to me. I planned this entire blog theme just by the title. I adore Elton John & “Tiny Dancer” is one of my all-time favorite songs. I saw him at Bonnaroo Music Festival my first year & I wouldn’t trade those memories for the world. If you’ve never heard the song “Tiny Dancer”: 1) Do you live under a rock? Go listen to it… 2) Literally the first line is “Blue jean baby, LA lady”. On a side note, this blog came at a perfect time because I just accepted a summer internship in Los Angeles! I’ll be West Coast bound right after graduation:)
This shoot was all about the 70s: vintage band tees, huge bell bottom jeans, & platforms. These shoes are my prized possessions. Limited Edition, Lita-Daisy Jeffrey Campbell’s. Sounds like a long Starbucks order that everyone hates you for but I could care less because I adore these pair of shoes like a damn first born child.
This week I leave for Okeechobee Music Festival so I’ll be in a forest with music playing 24 hours a day for 4 days straight. It’s their first year so I’m pretty excited to be making festival history! Then on to other spring break adventures in the Keys so get excited because I have some bomb ass photo shoots planned.
